BENEFITS
A pink Anemone with large double flowers nearly twice
the size of many Japanese Anemones. Gorgeous fall
bloomer.
BLOOM SEASON & HABIT
Flowers late summer and fall with a tall upright
habit. May require staking like most Japanese Anemones.
LOCATION
Full sun to partial shade.

USE
Best for the back of informal borders or beds, grown
with other taller plants. Combines well with asters,
ornamental grasses and Garden Sage (Salvia 'Indigo').

In 2 years 36" to 38" tall by 36" to
40" wide. Use 1 to 2 plants per square yard.
CULTURE
Average well-drained soils. Avoid wet soggy areas,

'Party Dress' is a sport of Anemone ×hybrida 'Lady Gilmour', discovered in the garden of Long Island plantswoman Rika Bronsther.
'The genus Anemone contains over 100 species of perennials, with native forms found in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the Americas. Most significant are the hybrid or "Japanese" varieties. The name Anemone comes from the Greek word for wind. |
