BENEFITS
Sport of 'Purple Dome', with that famous plant's fabulous late-season flower power and unusual habit for its genus. Very resilient and a show-stopper when in bloom. Mildew-resistant.
BLOOM SEASON & HABIT
Hordes of hot pink, starry flowers with yellow centers completely cover the lance-shaped green foliage in fall. Plants form naturally neat, compact mounds with no cutting back needed.
LOCATION
Full sun. USDA Hardiness Zones 3 to 8; AHS Heat Zones 8 to 1.
USE
Front or center of sunny perennial border.
SIZE
19" tall by 30" wide. Use 1 or 2 plants per square yard.
CULTURE
Prefers fertile, well-drained soil. Can tolerate some shade. Divide as desired every third year.
