BENEFITS
Unlike other spurges that turn red in fall, 'Bonfire' smolders red all summer long!
BLOOM SEASON & HABIT
Green spring foliage quickly turns to rich maroon red. Glowing chartreuse-gold flowers contrast strikingly in spring. Forms neat, uniform rounded mounds.
LOCATION
Full sun in the North, partial shade in the South. USDA Hardiness Zones 5 to 9; AHS Heat Zones 9 to 4.
USE
Excellent choice for edging or front of sunny perennial bed. Works well in containers.
SIZE
10" tall by 18" wide. Use 3 to 4 plants per square yard.
CULTURE
Grows best in well-drained, poor-to-moderately fertile soil. Divide every two to three years or as needed. Late-summer cutback can be beneficial if plants start to "birdnest." Use gloves. Sap may irritate skin of susceptible individuals. Also
