History and Companion Plants
The Heuchera family has been
a favorite specialty in Blooms breeding since 1920.
Many Heuchera varieties
are available which feature either flower or foliage
characteristics. Continuing this tradition for Blooms
in North America is ‘Harmonic Convergence’ from
Charles Oliver of Scottdale, Pennsylvania which blends
the best of flower and foliage into one plant.
Nice companion plants include
Crane’s Bill
(try Geranium ‘Ballerina’ or ‘Laurence
Flatman’), Catmint (Nepeta), Lavender (try
Lavandula ‘Blue Cushion’), Sundrops (Oenothera),
Pink Panda Strawberry (Fragaria ‘Pink Panda’),
Gaura (Gaura lindheimeri) and Torch Lily (try Kniphofia ‘Bressingham
Comet’). |
