BENEFITS
Sets the late summer garden aglow with stately flower spikes that command attention.

BLOOM SEASON & HABIT
Golden-orange flowers from midsummer to early fall. Grassy foliage on upright stalks.

LOCATION

USE
Nice as specimen planting of three or more plants. Good cut flower. Attractive to hummingbirds and butterflies.

SIZE
39" tall by 24" wide. Use 4 plants per square yard.

CULTURE
Use well-drained soils for best success. Remove spent flowers. Rarely needs dividing. If desired, can divide older clumps in spring. Tie leaves together over crowns for winter protection. Also see our General Planting Tips for more information.
