A graceful, beautifully variegated accent for any size garden.
BLOOM SEASON & HABIT
Slender green foliage is generously adorned with golden crosshatching. Forms neat, erect to slightly arching clumps, topped in autumn by elegant buff plumes.
LOCATION
Full sun. USDA Hardiness Zones 4 to 8; AHS Heat Zones 8 to 1. See our Growing
Zones page to reference growing zones in your
area.
USE
Place in full sun where plants will receive ample moisture. Suitable for large containers, but pots will need protection in winter. Plumes make good cuts; harvest when closed. Foliage is also attractive in arrangements.
SIZE
48" tall with plumes to 60", by 24" wide. Use 1 plant per square yard.
CULTURE
Not fussy about soil type as long as it has consistent moisture and good drainage. Cut back hard in fall, or leave standing for winter interest and cut in spring before new growth begins. Also
