BENEFITS
The name says it all! 'Super Stripe' outranks all other "banded" Miscanthus varieties, with more horizontal gold bands, full erect form and brilliant garden presence.

BLOOM SEASON & HABIT
Lush green leaves are heavily cross-hatched with gold bands. Tawny flowers soar on sturdy stems in September and October.

LOCATION
Full sun. USDA Hardiness Zones 5 to 9; AHS Heat Zones 9 to 1. See our Growing Zones page to reference growing zones in your area.

USE
A striking specimen at the back of the sunny perennial border or middle of island bed. Also stunning in a large container. Flowers make unique cut stems, fresh or dried.

SIZE
Foliage 4' tall, flowers to 7' by 46" wide. Use 1 or 2 plants per square yard.

CULTURE
Grows best in moderately moist, well-drained soil. Cut back in fall, or leave standing for winter interest and movement. Divide in fall as needed to control slow spreading clumps. Also see our General Planting Tips for more information.
