BENEFITS
This tender perennial provides sheets of startling blue, a valuable and rather scarce color for the perennial border.
BLOOM SEASON & HABIT
Small, upward-facing tubular flowers of stunning Mediterranean blue are borne at the tops of semi-erect stems June-August. Forms an open bush of neat, glaucus green foliage and electric, near-luminescent blooms.

USE
Place in front or middle of beds. Useful in large containers and as a cut flower.
SIZE
20" tall by 16" wide.
Use 3 plants per square yard.
CULTURE
Grows best in moist, but well drained, pH-neutral soil. Pot or plant in garden with crown level with soil. Deadhead and remove spent flower stems regularly after flowering. Cut back by at least half of last year's growth in spring. Water early in the day as needed during growing season, to allow foliage to dry.
