BENEFITS
Penstemons are considered to be among the loveliest
of perennials. This variety features an unusual
grape-purple color.
BLOOM SEASON & HABIT
Grape-colored flowers from early summer to mid-fall.
Lush foliage on mounded clumps.
LOCATION
Full sun. USDA Hardiness Zones 9 to 10; AHS Heat

USE
Mid or back of border plantings, naturalized areas.
Also nice for patio containers.
SIZE
28” tall by 18” wide. Use 4 plants per
square yard.
CULTURE
Plant in well-drained soils. A light mulch in winter
is helpful. Remove faded flower stalks to prolong
bloom. Take cuttings in early fall for overwintering
in colder zones. Can be divided in spring as needed.
